Wrapped Carbon Fiber Composite Gas Cylinder
The liner is made of aluminum alloy 6061, and is manufactured through the procedures of punching, drawing, heat treatment, numerical control spinning, and polishing surface. It holds the following merits of even wall thickness, little difference in wall thickness, consistent shape of shoulder and bottom, and smooth surface.
Employing the ANSYS software to analyze winding stress, we produce wrapped carbon fiber composite gas cylinder, which is made of fine raw materials, such as imported carbon fiber and resin, and manufacture it through the procedures of numerical control winding and curing at high temperature.
Compared with metallic cylinder, its advantages are as follows: its service pressure is increased greatly, leading to the larger capacity, while it is lighter by about 50%; it is more resistant to corrosion, more insulating, and more shock absorbing; and without the danger of breaking into pieces, thus is much safer. It will provide protection for respiratory system when fire-fighters and rescuers working in the severe circumstances full of smokes, poisonous gases, dusts, or in anoxia conditions. Therefore, it serves wide applications in the fields of fire-fighting, mining, chemical industry, metallurgy, petroleum and so forth.
